Snow White and the Huntsman

So, I had some time this afternoon to check out Snow White and the Huntsman and I can say it was everything I thought it was going to be. I predicted that Charlize Theron would carry this movie and I was right. Charlize is truly one of the best actors of our time. She can take any role and make it her own which is more than I can say for Kristen Stewart. Yep, that's right... here comes the KStew beat down. She has no dimension whatsoever. She always looks like she is in pain and if by chance she does try to smile it reminds me of Wednesday Addams...scary. I have to ask why they chose her for this role in the first place? The acting wasn't there and if she is supposed to be "fairest" in the land why would they put her opposite the ridiculously beautiful Theron?? Even in old/ugly makeup Charlize still looked better than Stewart. For the most part this movie was beautifully done (lots of Lord of the Rings-esque shots) and the costume/makeup looked great. I'm giving this one flats based on Charlize's performance and the overall look of the film. Oh, and Chris Hemsworth. I didn't comment on his acting because well, look at him...does it really matter?
